The Ironbound Advantage

At Ironbound Boats, we don’t just sell boats—we offer an unmatched experience from start to finish. Here’s why we’re the best choice for your next vessel:

Boats are unique products that require specialized knowledge to match customers with the right fit. In addition, many buyers are new to boating or exploring a different style of boat for the first time. Our team is here to simplify the process and provide clear, honest guidance from the start.

Whether you’re comparing models, planning how you’ll use the boat, or evaluating storage and service needs, we help you make well-informed decisions. As a result, you can move forward with confidence knowing your boat suits your lifestyle, your experience level, and the waters you run.

Ironbound Boats is committed to offering the best boats from some of the world’s leading manufacturers. We proudly represent Regal, Pursuit, and Axopa brands known for innovation, style, and performance. As a result, your perfect day on the water is always within reach.

Not everyone has the same vision for how they want to use their boat or enjoy the waters in our region. Our team takes the time to understand what matters most to you. In addition, we help you choose the right boat to match your needs so you can create the experiences and memories you’re looking for on the water.

Captain and CEO

Brad Boutilier

Transitioning from a sea-going career as a Master Mariner, Captain Brad Boutilier has been a central figure in supercharging the Atlantic Canada marine industry since 2020. In short order, he has established two shipyards, East River Shipyard and Lunenburg Shipyard, along with two marinas at each location: East River Marina and Old Foundry Marine. In 2025, he expanded his ventures to include Ironbound Boats.

Known for his leadership and deep-rooted connections, Brad inspires confidence in his team to deliver top-level customer service. A well-known figure in the boating community and an avid boater, Brad brings his passion for the water to everything he does.

When he’s not overseeing his business ventures, Brad is involved in yacht racing, recreational boating, supporting non-profits like the Coast Guard Auxiliary and local sailing clubs, and introducing others to the joys of sailing. Alongside his wife, he’s the biggest fan of their kids’ extra, extra-curricular activities and loves hitting the road—or the water—for family adventures. Known as the Captain both on and off the water, Brad steers his ship—and his team—with a steady hand, a sharp eye, and just the right amount of charm to keep the crew smiling.

VP Operations

Mike Wilson

Mike Wilson serves as the Vice President of Operations for East River Shipyard, Lunenburg Shipyard, and Ironbound Boats. Starting his career with the group of companies in March 2022 as Operations Manager, Mike quickly demonstrated an unwavering commitment to client service and an exceptional ability to manage complex operations with precision. His dedication, leadership, and overall capability earned him the promotion to Vice President, where he now oversees the day-to-day operations and ensures the seamless delivery of top-quality service across all business lines.

When he’s not ‘Superman’ at work, Mike enjoys hiking with his wife and dog, skiing, offshore sailing, and snowmobiling… so kind of like ‘Superman’ with his family. He can’t help himself.
